The Admin 101 program was researched and developed in 1998 and current data is applied annually to ensure program content continues to serve participants. The purpose of the program is to provide a multi-faceted onboarding experience for new or recently hired administrators in an intensive week-long in-person professional-learning setting. It has been 23 years since its first cohort and the program continues to thrive and fill to capacity each year. Every ACCCA PD program is strategically crafted to guarantee a diverse group of highly skilled leaders is prepared to meet the future administrative requirements of California community colleges.
- Application required to be accepted into this program.
- There is no cost to submit this application.
- This application does not require member login.
- You will need the following documents:
- Letter of Interest – a one-page letter that describes your professional development goals and articulates how this program will assist you in achieving these goals.
- Profile – a brief (3-4 paragraphs max) profile. Please include your current and prior positions, major accomplishments, brief educational sketch and a summary of your hobbies and/or interests and creative pursuits. Do not attach a resume.
- Professional Head Shot
- All applications are vetted by our program leads.
- You will receive notification regarding acceptance or wait list status for the 2024 Admin 101 program by email from events@accca.org.
- If accepted, you will receive an invoice for the program fee ($2250 or $2050 for current Mentor Program participants) that includes all class materials.
- You must be an ACCCA member to participate in the program.
- If you are accepted in the 2024 class and aren’t yet a member, you will be required to join ACCCA prior to paying for the class.
