What are Affinity Spaces?
Affinity Spaces are identity – and experience-based gatherings designed to foster dialogue, connection, and support among ACCCA members. They provide opportunities to share experiences, build solidarity, and collaborate on strategies that strengthen our leadership and impact. While all Affinity Spaces align around this shared mission, the White Accomplice/Ally Space has the distinct focus of creating intentional space for White participants to examine how whiteness shapes their lives, deepen accountability, and work alongside BIPOC colleagues to challenge systemic racism and advance racial equity.
Affinity Spaces emerged at our conference in 2025 (formerly Caucus Spaces) as powerful forms of connection – creating communities where equity, care, and belonging could thrive. You will have an opportunity to share which spaces you are interested in joining on the registration form for the 2026 conference.
